Happy 2019 Lunar New Year from Pigsy to all of you!

The theme for the 2019 OCA brochure was the Year of the Pig. I tried to incorporate traditional Chinese artistic patterns with ornamental framing, while still experimenting with overall design layout and aesthetics from the previous 2018 OCA brochure. I drew inspiration from the classic tale "Journey to the West," depicting Pigsy celebrating the upcoming 2019 year. Much of the ornate framing was hand drawn and inspired from temples and museums I visited on my trip to Southern China.
